A Clear Look at Our Fees

Fees and Deposits

The fees below apply at Sea Breeze Psychiatry, and our office is happy to talk through any questions you have about them.

  • Missed appointments and late cancellations: A missed appointment and a late cancellation each cost $50.
  • Out-of-network patients: Out-of-network means your insurance plan has no contract with our practice. New patients pay the total charge or a minimum $200 deposit, and established patients pay the total charge or a minimum $150 deposit.
  • Self-pay patients: Self-pay means you pay for your visit without using insurance, and the same amounts apply. New patients pay the total charge or a minimum $200 deposit, and established patients pay the total charge or a minimum $150 deposit.

Flexible Ways to Pay

How Payment Works

We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

We encourage patients to keep a credit card on file. This can be a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) card. At check-in, our office scans the card you choose. After your insurance pays its share, we email you the balance, charge it to your card, and email you a receipt.

Card details are handled by an off-site payment processor and aren’t stored on our office computers. We no longer mail statements, but your insurance company still sends you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which shows what it paid.

Care Within Reach

Community Care Through BayCare Health System

BayCare Health System offers outpatient counseling and behavioral health services to people regardless of their ability to pay. Sea Breeze Psychiatry takes part in this effort by offering pro bono care. This is care for people who may not be able to pay for it, and availability is limited. If cost is a concern, call our office at (850) 407-2095 to ask about it.
